Community Center
The Horsham Township Community Center is available for rent and can be reserved 3 months in advance. For more information or to reserve a date, call the Horsham Township Library at (215) 443-2609.
All of our facilities are non-smoking and do not allow alcoholic beverages or dogs.

Reservations must be submitted at least seven (7) days before your requested reservation date.
Horsham Township will accept reservations up to three (3) months in advance for a reservation.
Steps to Booking

Call the Library to check dates and place a tentative reservation. Please have your date and time (with set up and break down included) ready when you call.

The Library will forward the request to the Community Center staff. All events at the Community Center are staffed by a Township Employee. Once the event is approved or denied, the Library will call you back to finalize details and you will be required to come to the library within a week to complete payment and paperwork.

Come to the Library during any open hours with payment, a $75 deposit (cash or check only), the completed layout form for your event, and Certificate of Liability Insurance (if applicable).

Both Meeting Rooms: $70/hour; 188 people with tables and chairs; 250 chairs max
Meeting Room A or B: $50/hour; 94 people with tables and chairs; 138 chairs max
Admin Fee & Deposit: $30 admin fee + $75 deposit (cash or check only)
Kitchen: food prep only; no cooking allowed as per Montgomery County Health Department Food License
Tables: 20 Round (60"); 25 Rectangular (30"x72")

Layout Forms

Cancellation
Horsham Township Recreation Department appreciates as much advance notice as possible when a permit
must be cancelled or a date changed. For individuals and organizations that have paid a fee to use the
facility the following cancellation and/or date change fees will be applied:

With more than 10 business days' notice of cancellation requiring a refund:
Fees paid will be refunded in full minus a $30.00 administrative fee. If just the date is changed, there will be no administrative fee assessed.

With 6 to 10 business days' notice of cancellation:
Fees paid will be refunded minus a 25% cancellation fee. If just the date is changed, there will be no
administrative fee assessed.

With 1 to 5 business days' notice of cancellation or date change:
Fees paid will be refunded minus a 50% cancellation fee.
If cancelled on the date of the event or the event is a "no show", there will be no refund of fees paid.
Inclement Weather Cancellation
Events cancelled due to declared or impending snow emergencies will be without penalty.
Wavier/Insurance and Liability
Every group or organization using the Community Center is required to have a current Certificate of Liability Insurance on file with Horsham Township Recreation Department at the time of the event. For groups using the facility on a regular basis one certificate may be placed on file for the year. Individuals and groups renting the facility shall complete and sign the Holds Harmless Agreement (see Community Center Policies above). The Township Manger must approve any exceptions to this regulation. The Certificate of Liability Insurance is due when completing booking in-person at the library.
